Laurent Baheux’s work questions and raises awareness of current ecological concerns, forcing us above all to observe. His fight is against the injustice done to animals.
He considers that art and particulary photography play a crucial role in perceiving and understanding their sensitivity, their way of life, our connections.
Photography allows us to have more empathy towards living beings of which animals are a part in the same way as we are.
In a world saturated with images and colors, black and white allows him to disregard secondary elements and focus on the essential message.
IONNYK is proud to share through this collaboration with Laurent Baheux the taste for timeless aesthetics, but above all the fight and the commitment for the animal cause.
They work together around his «Big Five» collection to highlight these five famous but also endangered species : Elephant, lion, buffalo, rhinoceros & leopard. 20% of the profits made on each artwork will be paid to the association for their action « Saving Wildlife »

Cécile Plaisance
Nourished by Pop art painting, influenced by Pin-Up illustrators and sculptors, but above all inspired by the greatest photographers, Cécile Plaisance has always been fascinated by popular culture and its way of representing the sexy woman.
She questions the viewer about the perception we have of these “ideal” women and the evolution of their representation over the centuries.
Barbie is one of the instruments that the artist wields to perfection to question the world about its incendiary and controversial relationship between the womanobject and her place in a society made up of censorship and control.
Dreaming of a world where all women would embrace their freedom, Cécile Plaisance now deploys her work with real models who, more talkative than Barbies, deliver a strong message today.
Each work of the artist consists of superpositions, undressing and donning the model.
Consolidating the idea that each woman can hide another, the meeting between Cécile Plaisance and our medium IONNYK turned out to be obvious.
Beyond cultures, clothes and life paths, each woman aspires to live her multy facetted life fully and intensely. This idea is made possible thanks to a completely exclusive encounter with IONNYK.
